A presentation of Miriam Visalli’s book Attori del gusto: Percorsi tra cinema e cibo and a debate with the author for DIALOGHI IN CORSO.

A new event entitled CINEMA & CIBO (FILM & FOOD) will be held on Friday, 20 May 2011 at 8.30 p.m. in the Bibliomediateca for the DIALOGHI IN CORSO: presentation of new books, DVDs and readings. At this event there will be a presentation of Miriam Visalli’s book Attori del gusto: Percorsi tra cinema e cibo as well as a debate to discuss the special relationship between food and film.
The author will be joined by Gian Paolo Caprettini (University of Turin) and Nicola Perullo (University of Food Sciences, Pollenzo - Bra). Introduction by Silvio Alovisio (University of Turin).
Afterwards there will be a screening of Tassos Boulmetis’s film A Touch of Spice (Greece - Turkey 2003, 108’, colour).
