PHANTOMS OF FORGOTTEN MEN offers a selection of films – programmed at the Mario Gromo Library/Mediatheque in the month of May – which were produced in Hollywood during the years of the Great Depression and which work as an ideal mirror for understanding that type of economic crisis and the ensuing anxieties, disappointments and hopes.
The showcase is organised with the Luigi Einaudi Foundation, DAMS – Turin University and curator Gruppo cinematografico universitario Ultracorpi.
