For its new rendez-vous with INTORNO AI MEDIA. Scambi e discussioni (ABOUT THE MEDIA. Exchanges and debates), the National Cinema Museum will host a workshop dedicated to the eclectic British actor, filmmaker, scriptwriter, composer and producer Charles Chaplin, titled A century of laughter. Learning from Chaplin in the Library/Mediatheque on Wednesday 24 October 2012. The meeting – which will take place in the events room from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2.30 to 5.30 p.m. – will be accompanied by screenings of a few slapstick films acted and shot by Charlie Chaplin for the Keystone Company between 2 February and 7 December 1914 and restored by the Bologna Film Archives.
