The Monday afternoon rendez-vous will resume with the AMEDEO BUFFA… STAGE NAME AMEDEO NAZZARI showcase and the screening of its first film, La donna della montagna by Renato Castellani.

Following the summer interval, screenings on Monday afternoon will resume at the National Cinema Museum “Mario Gromo” Library/Mediatheque, beginning with the Amedeo Buffa… Stage name Amedeo Nazzari showcase, which will kick off on Monday 1st September at 3.30 p.m. with the film screening of La donna della montagna by Renato Castellani.

The cycle features three dates and pinpoints the 1940s as the turning point in Nazzari’s career between auteur and popular cinema, following a performing trend dominated by expressive intensity.
