The National Cinema Museum renders tribute to the opus of Antonietta De Lillo with a brief showcase, titled THE LADY OF PORTRAITS, featuring four films by this author.

Four films for summing up Antonietta De Lillo’s work, against conventions and caring for detail within the characters she describes and talks about. Documentaries and feature films featuring a common viewpoint which does not halt before appearances, but searches in the depth of each gesture for the sense of an entire lifetime immersed in the present, and sophisticatedly literary at the same time.

The showcase will be inaugurated on Friday 27 May at 8.30 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo, by the screening of Oggi insieme domani anche. Film partecipato (Together today and tomorrow too. An involved film), presented to the public at the theatre by the author. The screening will be followed by a meeting/debate.
