A screening of Yang Yue-Qing's documentary Nu Shu: A Hidden Language of Women in China for SAPERI DI DONNA (THE WISDOM OF WOMEN).
The events organised for the SAPERI DI DONNA (THE WISDOM OF WOMEN) festival resume with a screening of the Chinese-Canadian film director Yang Yue-Qing's documentary Nu Shu: A Hidden Language of Women in China on Thursday, 20th January 2011 at 4 p.m. in the Bibliomediateca.
SAPERI DI DONNA (THE WISDOM OF WOMEN) is a film and literary festival which will hold two events a month (until July 2011) and which promotes a culture of respect, equality and equal opportunities among men and women through a network of talks in different libraries in the area. The project has been organised in partnership with Turin borough council's Equal Opportunities and Gender Policies department, Public Libraries of Turin Department for the Disabled–Passepartout service, the Fondazione Torino Musei-Borgo Medievale (museum-medieval hamlet foundation), the Documé Association and Fondazione Teatro Nuovo Torino-Liceo Teatro Nuovo. With funding from Districts 1, 3, 7 and 8.
