The National Cinema Museum will be hosting the award ceremony of the 2nd edition of “Faber: Quando la creatività incontra l’impresa” in Cinema Massimo.

 

The National Cinema Museum will be hosting the award ceremony for the winners of the 2nd edition of “Faber: Quando la creatività incontra l’impresa”. The event will take place on Saturday, 19 November 2011 from 4.30 p.m. on, in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three.

During the award ceremony, special prizes will be awarded by CNA Torino, CSP - Innovazione nelle ICT, Eggers 2.0 let’s do it together, the IAAD Institute of Applied Arts and Design, Turin, JStone, Sisvel Technology, So Simple and Toolbox Coworking, and representatives from the most important institutions and bodies including Turin’s city council, Regione Piemonte and Turin’s Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance.

As part of MAGNIFICHE VISIONI (MAGNIFICENT VISIONS): The Permanent Festival of Restored Film, the National Cinema Museum presents Marcel Carné’s film Le Quai des Brumes (Port of Shadows).

 

The National Cinema Museum presents Marcel Carné’s film Le Quai des Brumes (Port of Shadows) on Tuesday, 22 November 2011 at 8.45 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, screening a copy restored by the Cinémathèque Française. There will be a repeat screening on Wednesday, 23 November at 4 p.m. Admission: 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros.

The film is one of the many events scheduled in the new and exciting season of MAGNIFICHE VISIONI (MAGNIFICENT VISIONS): The Permanent Festival of Restored Film.

 

 

- WEDNESDAY 23 NOVEMBER, at 6.00 p.m. – SCREEN THREE

The National Cinema Museum, in partnership with the DAMS college for the performing arts, presents Stanley Kubrick’s film 2001: A Space Odyssey, for the HISTOIRE(S) DU CINÉMA series, introduced by Giaime Alonge.

 

The HISTOIRE(S) DU CINÉMA: classics from film history series – a programme of classic films from the 1930s to the 1970s, which has been running throughout October – continues in November. This retrospective is presented by the National Cinema Museum and the University of Turin’s DAMS college for the performing arts in Cinema Massimo.

The next event will be held on Wednesday, 23 November 2011 at 6 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, and will feature a screening of Stanley Kubrick’s film 2001: A Space Odyssey, introduced by Giaime Alonge. Admission: €4 (€3 for university students and the over 60s).

The National Cinema Museum presents Steven Soderbergh’s The Girlfriend Experience for November’s CULT! evening at Cinema Massimo.

 

The National Cinema Museum devotes its November CULT! evening to one of Steven Soderbergh’s most interesting low-budget productions, The Girlfriend Experience. The screening is scheduled for Wednesday, 23 November 2011 at 8.45 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three. Admission: 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros. There will be a repeat screening at 10.30 p.m.
