The National Cinema Museum presents Vite da bohème: an Aki Kaurismäki retrospective at Cinema Massimo.
The National Cinema Museum pays tribute to the Finnish film director Aki Kaurismaki – socially conscious, ironic, surreal and experimentative – with a retrospective entitled Vite da bohème: an Aki Kaurismaki retrospective.
The retrospective is a National Cinema Museum project organised in partnership with the Finnish Film Foundation (Suomen Elokuvasäätiö).
The festival will open on Friday, 10 February 2012 at 4.30 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, with a screening of Crime and Punishment, a modern adaptation – which however respects the spirit of the original - of Dostoevsky’s novel. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euros.

During the Dappertutto è l’uomo! BRECHT_CAMP 2 festival, which is taking place in Turin from 6-12 February 2012 (and simultaneously in Berlin), the National Cinema Museum and the Goethe-Institut present the short film festival entitled Norme per la rivoluzione. The screening will take place on Saturday, 11 February 2012 at 6 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three. This documentary follows the life of the inhabitants of the Siberian Taiga. There will be a repeat screening on Friday, 17 February 2012 at 4.30 p.m. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euros.
