A screening of the film Eyes Wide Open and a debate with the director, Elisa Mereghetti, for SCHERMI AFRICANI (AFRICAN SCREENS).

To mark Africa Day, on 25th May, the National Cinema Museum presents the festival entitled SCHERMI AFRICANI (AFRICAN SCREENS) from 25 to 27 May 2011, a series of screenings and talks for the general public and high schools, at Cinema Massimo and the Bibliomediateca Mario Gromo.

As part of this series, there will be a screening of Elisa Mereghetti’s documentary Eyes Wide Open on Thursday, 26 May at 8.30 p.m. in the Bibliomediateca, introduced by the film’s director. The event has been organised in partnership with the COP (Consorzio delle ONG Piemontesi) as part of “Piedmont calling the world – A whole month devoted to international cooperation and education for world citizenship”.
