On Wednesday, 28 September 2011 at 8.30 p.m. events in the VOCI DEL SILENZIO (VOICES OF SILENCE) series resume with L’INFERNALE DANTE, the Divine Comedy poised between the Italian language and early film.

During the talk – organised in partnership with the Società Dante Alighieri to mark the International Convention “Unità d’Italia e unità linguistica, tra storia e contemporaneità”, in Turin from 30 September to 2 October 2011 – the box set CENTO ANNI FA: INFERNO, published by Bologna’s Edizioni Cineteca in 2011, will be presented. There will be contributions from Michele Canosa (University of Bologna), Alessandro Marotto (film historian) and Marco Piccat (University of Trieste). Introduced by Marco Grifo (Brigate Irma Vep).
