The new cycle of dates for Seeyousound is being inaugurated with the dark-crime comedy Sound of Noise by Ola Simonsson and Johannes Stjärne Nilsson.

Cinema Massimo – 29 September 2017, 9.00 p.m. – Screen Three

The traditional monthly rendez-vous with films proposed by Seeyousound – International Music Film Festival, the first music-themed festival in Italy, still taking forward its work in town, always in partnership with the National Cinema Museum, is continuing in September.

The first film opening the new season is the Swedish dark comedy Sound of Noise. A music-guerrilla manifesto, it intends to communicate to the world through an irreverent and amusing story that, if organised, the sounds that surround us chaotically can become music beyond any preconfigured or academic pattern. Admission 5.00 euro.

Sound of Noise

(Sweden/France 2010, 102', Hd, col., o.v. it. s/t)

A Swedish dark-crime comedy, in which six percussionists who are frustrated by the scant evaluation of their musical stature and the role of their instrument, decide to unite into a sort of gang, which will take an entire city in hostage to build the most important symphony for percussions of all times, played with everyday objects.
