To mark the solo exhibition of Californian artist John McCracken at Rivoli Castle, the National Cinema Museum presents the film festival entitled Sulle strade della California: Istantanee di un viaggio tra utopia e visionarietà
The National Cinema Museum presents the film festival entitled Sulle strade della California: Istantanee di un viaggio tra utopia e visionarietà (On the roads of California: Snapshots of a trip between utopia and the visionary) at Cinema Massimo, from 1st to 13th April 2011.
The festival has been organised by the National Cinema Museum to coincide with the solo exhibition of the Californian artist John McCracken which is being held in Rivoli Castle.
The retrospective will open on Friday, 1 April 2011, at 8.30 p.m., in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, with a screening of Mike Nichols’ film The Graduate in digital HD. Before the film, there will be a talk by Andrea Bellini – the director of Rivoli Castle’s Museum of Contemporary Art and curator of the exhibition – and Francesco Bernardelli. Admission: 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros.
