Exhibition "METROPOLIS. Rediscovering a Masterpiece"

This exhibition, produced by the Deutsche Kinemathek in Berlin and integrated with exhibits from the Cinémathèque Française in Paris, is arriving at the National Cinema Museum to celebrate the Masterpiece by Fritz Lang, restored following the amazing discovery of a substantially uncut version of the film in Buenos Aires in 2008. The exhibition unites all of the preserved original documents for the first time: exhibits from the set, preparatory drawings, production design sketches, photographs, cameras, music scores and numerous other original items. The extensively compiled documents make its production process come alive, allowing a deeper understanding of this film that has already been proclaimed as part of the World’s Cultural Heritage.
