Summer 2013 at the National Cinema Museum
The National Cinema Museum will open regularly throughout the summer season, furthermore, for the Ferragosto bank holiday on Monday 12 August 2013, the Museo will feature a special opening from 9.00 a.m.-8.00 p.m. On Thursday 15 August 2013, Ferragosto day, the Museum will also open regularly, from 9.00 a.m.-8.00 p.m.
We remind you that until 15 September it will be possible to visit the SCORSESE exhibition, a Deutsche Kinemathek and National Cinema Museum coproduction, a tribute to Martin Scorsese’s artistic genius.
It will be possible throughout the summer to take advantage of the National Cinema Museum Family Special promotion, featuring admission to the museum and the temporary exhibition at the cost of 9.00 € per person for adults and free entry for children up to 18 years.
In addition, it is always possible to experience the new CUPOLA ASCENT circuit, which leads from the ground floor up the 85 metre high Panoramic Terrace, along the staircase inside the shell of the Cupola, by means of a guided tour to the architectural marvels and previously unseen places of the Mole Antonelliana.
Tour duration: ascent and descent on foot about 60 minutes.
The Cinema Massimo and the “Mario Gromo” Library/Mediatheque in via Matilde Serao will be closed to the public during the summer period as follows:
- Cinema Massimo, from Monday 22 July to Wednesday 28 August 2013 included.
- “Mario Gromo” Library/Mediatheque, from Monday 5 to Sunday 25 August 2013 included.
