The National Cinema Museum will offer a broad retrospective titled Cinema is a battlefield. Tribute to Samuel Fuller, from 7 to 28 February 2014 at the Cinema Massimo.
This retrospective dedicated to Samuel Fuller, a singular American filmmaker-soldier figure, who passed from the battlefield to the set without changing an iota of his attitude towards the world, is a project by the National Cinema Museum.
The retrospective will be inaugurated on Friday 7 February at 8.30 p.m. on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo, with the film screening of I shot Jesse James, introduced to the public by Giampiero Frasca, the author of the volume “Storia e storie del cinema americano” (History and stories of American cinema), (Utet 2013). Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
