National Cinema Museum hours and activities during the Easter festivities.
During the upcoming Easter festivities, the National Cinema Museum will open regularly, with the following hours:
Sunday 5 April - Easter | 9.00 a.m. - 8.00 p.m. |
Monday 6 April – Easter Monday | (special opening) 9.00 a.m. - 8.00 p.m. |
For this occasion, it will be possible to visit ON THE FRONT. Cameramen and photographers recount the Great War, the riveting temporary exhibition by curators Roberta Basano and Sarah Pesenti Campagnoni, which offers visitors a circuit of pictures featuring shots and footage taken by military photographers and operators, who give their account of an extreme, overwhelming and contradictory war.
A guided tour will be organised on Easter Monday 6 April 2015, at 6.00 p.m., by booking through number +39 011 8138564/5 (active from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.), within two days prior to this date.
Admission free for juniors aged up to 18 years, 8.00 euro for accompaniers. The tour lasts about one hour and a half, 3.50 euro per person.
Moreover, the museum will offer the Volare…Oh! Oh! laboratory, also on Easter Monday: play-and-learn activity addressed to children aged 5 to 10, starting from 4.30 p.m. Activities will last about 1h30’ with booking required, always through number +39 011 8138564/5 at a cost of 4.00 € per child, 3.00 € for Junior Card holders. Admission to the museum is free for children, while a cost of 3.00 € is foreseen for parents and accompaniers.
