From Locarno to the Cinema Massimo, a selection from the BELOVED AND REJECTED - Cinema in the young Federal Republic of Germany showcase.
The National Cinema Museum is presenting the BELOVED AND REJECTED - Cinema in the young Federal Republic of Germany showcase at the Cinema Massimo, from Monday 12 to Tuesday 20 September.
Albeit in a reduced version, the echoes of this great retrospective dedicated to the cinema of the young Federal Republic of Germany are also arriving at the Massimo, with a selection of eight films, through which we shall retrace the essential features of this cinematography, which happened in the newly born Federal Republic of Germany on the morrow of the second world war and garnered a great success with its public. In collaboration with the Turin Goethe-Institut.
The showcase will open on Monday 12 September at 4.30 p.m. with Das Bekenntnis der Ina Kahr (The Confession of Ina Kahr) by Georg Wilhelm Pabst. Special event on Wednesday 14 at 8.30 p.m. with the film screening of Der Verlorene (The lost man) by Peter Lorre, introduced to the public at the cinema by Roberto Turigliatto. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
