As part of L’OTTAVA ARTE (THE EIGHTH ART) – Wonders of animation, Gianni Rondolino presents The Pink Panther, in partnership with ASIFA ITALIA.
ASIFA Italia – The Italian Association of Animated Film and the National Cinema Museum present a new event in the series entitled L’OTTAVA ARTE (THE EIGHTH ART) Wonders of animation on Friday, 14 October 2011 at 8.30 p.m. in the Bibliomediateca Mario Gromo. Gianni Rondolino presents a selection of film credits and cartoons linked to the character The Pink Panther drawn by Friz Freleng. The event has been organised to coincide with the National Cinema Museum’s tribute to the film director Blake Edwards, at Cinema Massimo from 24 October to 22 November 2011.

The second event in the series entitled BOTTA E RISPOSTA! (VERBAL CROSSFIRE)! Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau in film, features a screening of Gene Sacks’s film The Odd Couple. Introduced by Roberta Pozza.
The second event in the series entitled BOTTA E RISPOSTA! (VERBAL CROSSFIRE)! Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau in film, on Monday, 17 October 2011 at 3.30 p.m., features a screening of Gene Sacks’s film The Odd Couple. Introduced by Roberta Pozza.
The BOTTA E RISPOSTA (VERBAL CROSSFIRE)! series focuses on the artistic partnership of two great actors and friends, Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau. The group of three films scheduled consists of two occasions where the actors collaborated with Billy Wilder (The Fortune Cookie and The Front Page), true emblems of a total synergy between director and actors, and the film that immortalised them as a brilliant duo, The Odd Couple.

For the DIALOGHI IN CORSO presentation of newly published books, DVDs and readings, an evening focusing on SCUOLA E CINEMA (SCHOOL AND FILM) with the presentation of Giampiero Frasca’s book Il cinema va a scuola. Grazia Paganelli and the author will be participating.
The Bibliomediateca will be hosting a new event in the DIALOGHI IN CORSO presentation of newly published books, DVDs and readings on Wednesday, 19 October 2011 at 5 p.m., entitled SCUOLA E CINEMA (SCHOOL AND FILM) with a presentation of Giampiero Frasca’s book Il cinema va a scuola published by Le Mani Microart's, 2011.
Grazia Paganelli (National Cinema Museum) will be joining the author.
A journey through school classrooms observed through the privileged filter of film history. The author, fresh from his experience as a teacher and film expert, carries out an analysis that covers different historical and social situations and draws from some of the most important directors in film history.
