For L’OTTAVA ARTE (THE EIGHTH ART. Marvels of animation), rendez-vous dedicated to Saul Bass and the art of film credits. To follow, screening of a selection of work created by the Newyorker artist.
ASIFA Italia - Italian Association for Animation Films and the National Cinema Museum present the last meeting, entitled Saul Bass and the art of film credits, for the cycle L’OTTAVA ARTE (THE EIGHTH ART. Marvels of animation), on Monday 2 April 2012, at 8.30 p.m., in the Library/Mediatheque events room. Gianni Rondolino will analyse the main communication and aesthetic aspects within the activity of this great designer from New York, and offer a showcase of an extremely rich selection of his works.

Identity and metamorphosis of a serial character between literature, cartoons, cinema and television) by Paolo Bertetti.
New rendez-vous for DIALOGHI IN CORSO (TALKS IN PROGRESS). Presentations of new books, dvd-s and readings with a debate on the volume Conan il mito. Identità e metamorfosi di un personaggio seriale tra letteratura, fumetto, cinema e televisione (Conan the myth. Identity and metamorphosis of a serial character between literature, cartoons, cinema and television) by Paolo Bertetti (Edizioni ETS, 2011), Wednesday 4 April 2012, at 8.30 p.m.. To follow, film screening of Conan the barbarian by John Milius.
