The next event in the VOCI DEL SILENZIO (VOICES OF SILENCE) festival features 18 FRAMES A SEGUNDO: De Chomón and animated film, a presentation of the DVD Segundo de Chomón 1903-1912: El cine de la fantasia published by the Filmoteca de Catalunya and Cameo.

The next event in the Bibliomediateca will be on Wednesday, 18 May 2011 at 8.30 p.m. with 18 FRAMES A SEGUNDO: De Chomón and animated film, a talk and presentation of the DVD Segundo de Chomón 1903-1912: El cine de la fantasia published by Filmoteca de Catalunya and Cameo

Participants will include: Claudia Gianetto (National Cinema Museum), Andrea Pagliardi (ASIFA Italia) and Simona Nosenzo (film historian). Introduced by: Marco Grifo (Brigate Irma Vep).

The evening will offer an overview of the film director's work, through a stunning array of images that  transport us to a magical, enchanted world where surprise, phantasmagoria and constant marvels reign supreme. Afterwards there will be screenings taken from the DVD Segundo de Chomón 1903-1912:  El cine de la fantasia.
