The National Cinema Museum is proposing a retrospective titled Queens, New York, NY. Dito Montiel’s cinema, from 16 to 20 May 2014 at the Cinema Massimo. The tribute dedicated to this eclectic artist from New York will feature his four films, regrettably neglected by Italian distribution, and it will be a National Cinema Museum project.
Born and bred in Queens, Dito Montiel also asserted himself in Italy with his debut film A guide to recognizing your saints, which will open the retrospective on Friday 16 May at 9.00 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
